简　　介
　　被丈夫遗弃的Ellen（张曼玉）与玩世不恭的网络公司创办人Mike（黎明饰）在美国旧金山一见钟情，开始了一段爱情攻防战争。
　　女人的天性使Ellen不自觉地侵入了Mike的个人空间，令不羁的Mike产生抵抗情绪，可是也终被Ellen的无条件付出感动，两人携手一起生活。然而在激情和温馨过后，因为Mike的公司出现经济困境，两人开始不断的争吵，暴露出各自的世界观有巨大差异的事实。在极度失意下，Ellen 提出分手，但像香港城的沦陷成全了白流苏和范柳原一样，一年后旧金山发生的大地震，为他们的重新牵手提供了契机。
