简　　介

斯大林格勒战役中，瓦西里（裘德•洛 Jude Law 饰）是一个威震部队的神枪手。他的好枪法百发百中，令敌人闻风丧胆。

幕后揭秘
　　《兵临城下》改编自作家威廉·克雷格1973年的同名纪实小说，讲述在二战历史上伟大的转折点即斯大林格勒战役期间，故事主要围绕两位神枪手：一个是俄国牧羊人还有一位是德国将领之间的决斗展开。    这是一部为数不多没有涉及到美国人的二战电影。影片来源于真实事件，一场战争就像是一盘棋局，败者不但必死而且还要在历史上遗臭万年。当时是1942年秋天的斯大林格勒，希特勒正在疯狂进攻苏联。刚开始的时候德国人轻而易举摧毁俄国人的抵抗，最终在顽强不屈的俄军和恶劣的天气以及供给线问题等多方面因素综合之下，希特勒遭到毁灭性的打击，从而逆转了整个战争的局势。    根据相关报道，影片主要由德国公司投资，制作费用高达9千5百万美元，全部在德国拍摄完成。导演是执导过《火之战》（Quest for Fire 1981）、《玫瑰之名》（In the Name of the Rose 1986）、情人（The Lover 1992）和《西藏七年》（Seven Years in Tibet 1997）等影片的法国人让-雅克·阿诺。    演员阵容也很强大，主要演员基本上都是走红于好莱坞的英国明星。其中有近年来凭借奥斯卡大赢家《莎翁情史》、《伊丽莎白》迅速走红的约瑟夫·费因斯，在《天才瑞普利》中展现精湛演技的裘德·洛，以及在《勇闯夺命岛》以硬汉形象示人的艾德·哈里斯，在1999年的热门冒险影片《木乃伊》中饰演可爱的女探险家的雷切尔·薇姿也在影片中再显身手，与裘德·洛上演一场“火线恋情”。    也许有人会问，这部电影是否也是两种敌对意识形态之间的较量，即马克思主义与纳粹主义。而丹尼洛夫的角色正是作为一名宣传员在全力以赴，但更大程度上，这还是一部关于处在特殊时期的两个人，为了置对方于死地他们必须充分发挥自己的聪明才智和所有技能。正因为如此，导演阿诺更加关注这一点，使得影片的主题无法有效集中起来。多余的情节副线和爱情故事令影片大打折扣。    尽管如此，无论从哪方面而言，导演亦或是编剧，阿诺的工作都不尽如人意。影片没有任何的历史感，甚至可以说没有城市的自然地理特征或者人们日常生活的感觉。在这一点上，约瑟夫·威尔斯迈（Joseph Vilsmaier）1993年执导的《斯大林格勒战役》（Stalingrad）要略胜一筹。三位主要演员的选择也是重大失误，尤其是英国演员裘德·洛作为男一号，这位英俊小生扮演了来自于乌拉尔山脉的瓦西里。    导演阿诺善于在大银幕上塑造用理想信念进行自我考验的人物形象。在这部影片当中，他把纳粹的神枪手塑造为冷酷的职业杀手，近乎毫无感情，全部的意念就是为了赢得挑战。而俄国人则截然不同，在获悉自己面对的敌人是谁的时候，泽索夫已经失去信心，于是只会简单地说一句“他比我更优秀”。片中唯一出彩的角色就是由艾德·哈里斯塑造的德国神射手康尼，睿智的对白，大部分时候甚至无需通过语言就能传神演绎，主要通过表情、简短的交流足以使得他的角色鲜明生动，成为银幕上具有超凡魅力的人物。为了与其他欧洲演员保持一致，哈里斯不露痕迹地改变了他的美国口音。
